1.Do welcum a new muslim 2ur masjid n neighbourhood.

2.Do ask question abt d information they'd like 2 knw,i.e.wat books 2gv or wat classes 2 refer em 2.

3.Do let em talk,listen attentively.

4.Do offer ur sincere support n exchange contact information.

5.Do regularly call,meet up 4 tea or meal.

6.Do refer the new muslim 2 other organisations,groups,workshop,frens.

7.Do explain tings 2 a new muslim in a clear nonjudgemental way.

8.Do focus on d usul al din n furul din n prayer.

9.Do offer hijabs,prayers rugs n d like 4 new muslim.

10.Don't ask too much questions,including personal one's.

11.Don't promote cultural values as islamic values.

12.Don't assume d new muslim knws nothing or everything-ask n find out.

13.Don't overburden d new muslim wit unnecessary information.

14.Don't treat em as a "pet"by parading em around ur masjid or over-praising em,They're normal ppl.

15.Don't expect d new muslim 2 suddenly implement evry aspect of islam in their life.4 many new muslim,it is a gradual process.

16.Don't assume every new muslim is converted 4 a spouse or converted 4 any reason other than the sake of Allah.

17.Don't assume the new muslim has lived a certain way in their past..i.e,"they gave up everything they were doing b4"as if they're entire life was haram.

18.Don't alwez ask a new muslim how they found islam.Gv em space 2 tell u if they want 2.Most convert muslims will b asked dis question continuously 4d rest their lives.

19.Don't assume every "long term convert" is a new muslim n in need of assistance. Don't b surprise 2 see converts (muslims) reading Quran in or having acquired knowledge or a certain level of knowledge.
